TWEC.COM to be Featured Advertiser On Voice Mail Provider, eVoice; Addressable, Interactive Ads to Drive New Audience to TWEC.COM

ALBANY, N.Y.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–February 8, 2000–TWEC.COM, the e-commerce web site of leading entertainment products retailer Trans World Entertainment Corporation (Nasdaq National Market: TWMC), today announced an advertising agreement with eVoice, Inc., a provider of free, private voicemail services.

According to the terms of the agreement, TWEC.COM messages reach eVoice subscribers in several ways. Subscribers who select the option of checking their voicemail messages on the web will find a full-size TWEC.COM banner that directly links to http://www.twec.com. TWEC.COM will also air 15-second audio ads that are played when an eVoice subscriber checks for messages on the phone or via the web. Extended audio ads can be accessed when a caller follows a prompt to receive more information. In addition, e-commerce customers can immediately connect directly to TWEC.COM via the web.
