TWEC.COM To Air a Live Concert Starring Gov't Mule

ALBANY, N.Y., March 2 /PRNewswire/ — TWEC.COM (, the
e-commerce site of leading entertainment products retailer Trans World
Entertainment Corporation (Nasdaq: TWMC), announced today its events for the
week of March 6. The RadioWoodstock On Stage series continues this week with
an audio broadcast of a concert starring Julia Darling. The Web’s
Entertainment Center will be airing a live concert starring Gov’t Mule, in
conjunction with Electric Factory and iCON Broadcasting. In addition,
TWEC.COM will air a special RadioWoodstock broadcast starring Bruce Cockburn,
live from the Bearsville Theatre. Details for each event are as follows:


  • The RadioWoodstock On Stage series continues this week as TWEC.COM
    broadcasts a taped audio concert starring talented young Aussie singer
    Julia Darling. Born in New Zealand, Julia performed as a street
    musician in Melbourne, Australia before being signed to New York-based
    record label Wind-Up Records. Her debut album, Figure 8, was released
    in June 1999. The concert with Julia Darling airs at the following
    times: Monday 3/6 at 4:00 PM EST, Wednesday 3/8 at 11:00 AM EST,
    Saturday 3/11 at 3:00 AM EST and Sunday 3/12 at 7:00 PM EST.


  • At 9:00 PM EST, TWEC.COM will air a live webcast starring Gov’t Mule,
    in conjunction with Electric Factory Artists and iCON Broadcasting.
    Two of the members of the band were in the Allman Brothers Band before
    leaving to form Gov’t Mule in 1994. The band released their debut
    album in 1995. Their fifth album, Life Before Insanity, was released
    in February 2000, and is rich with the rough vocals of lead singer
    Warren Haynes and strong guitar playing.


  • At 8:00 PM EST, TWEC.COM will air a webcast with singer/songwriter
    Bruce Cockburn, live from the Bearsville Theatre. Bruce has produced a
    strong and diverse body of music throughout his career, and has been
    embraced by fans and critics alike. Bruce released his 20th studio
    album, entitled Breakfast in New Orleans, Dinner in Timbuktu in
    September 1999.
