Entertainment Corporation (Nasdaq: TWMC), today announced its exciting lineup
of events for the week of 7/24, which includes live chats with Bahamadia, Rah
Digga and Al Jarreau. In addition, the RadioWoodstock On Stage series
continues when TWEC.COM broadcasts a taped audio concert starring Orchestra
Morphine. Details for each event are as follows:
MONDAY 7/24
-
The RadioWoodstock On Stage series continues this week with a broadcast
of an audio concert starring Orchestra Morphine. Orchestra Morphine
was formed by the two surviving members of Morphine following the death
of lead singer Mark Sandman, and includes several musicians who’d been
longtime friends of and collaborators with Morphine. Orchestra
Morphine has been touring in support of Morphine’s latest album, “The
Night.” The concert with Orchestra Morphine airs at the following
times: Monday 7/24 at 4:00 PM EDT, Wednesday 7/26 at 11:00 AM EDT,
Saturday 7/29 at 3:00 AM EDT and Sunday 7/30 at 7:00 PM EDT. -
At 8:00 PM EDT, join TWEC.COM, in conjunction with SOHH.com, for the
continuation of the 2000 Sizzlin’ Summer live chat series. The series
will continue on Monday with two live events, starting with a live chat
with rising female hip-hop artist Bahamadia. Bahamadia’s debut solo
album, “BB Queen,” hits stores on 7/25. -
The 2000 Sizzlin’ Summer live chat series continues at 9:00 PM EDT when
TWEC.COM hosts a live chat with Rah Digga. Rah Digga is the female
member of Busta Rhyme’s Flip Mode Squad. Her hard-hitting raps have
established her as one of rap’s most outstanding female MCs. Her solo
debut album, “Dirty Harriet,” was released this past spring.
WEDNESDAY 7/26
-
At 8:00 PM EDT, log on to TWEC.COM for a live chat with Al Jarreau.
Jarreau is the only singer in history to receive Grammy awards in three
different categories — jazz, pop and r&b. Jarreau’s most recent
album, “Tomorrow Today,” was released in March 2000, and is an ideal
showcase of the scope of his talents, as he flows effortlessly from
romantic ballads to soulful pop songs, while adding a touch of jazz and
thoughtful lyrics. -
Following the chat with Al Jarreau, join TWEC.COM for a live chat with
soulful singer Wanya Morris, known as the “emotional” member of r&b
supergroup Boyz II Men! Boyz II Men broke onto the music scene in a
big way in 1991 with their debut album “CooleyHighHarmony,” featuring
such smash hits as “Motownphilly,” “Uhh Ahh” and “It’s So Hard to Say
Good-bye to Yesterday.” In the nine years since, Boyz II Men has
remained one of the most influential groups in music. The chat with
Wanya Morris begins at 9:00 EDT.
