TWEC.COM Announces Exclusive Co-Marketing Agreement With Gigmania.Com

ALBANY, N.Y.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Nov. 9, 1999–
TWEC.COM (www.twec.com), the e-commerce site of leading
entertainment products retailer Trans World Entertainment Corporation
(Nasdaq National Market: TWMC), today announced an exclusive agreement
with online concert site, Gigmania.com. The agreement positions
TWEC.COM as the preferred CD, music, video and video game provider for
product sales on the Gigmania site (www.gigmania.com).

Under the terms of the agreement, TWEC.COM will place a “Get CD”
button on www.gigmania.com that will link from artist tour dates
listed on the Gigmania web site to the TWEC artist discography pages –
pages that list album information on a particular artist. For each
artist displayed on the Gigmania site, TWEC.COM will feature up to
three of the most current concert tour dates listed on Gigmania.com as
well as a link back to Gigmania that will provide additional tour
information. In addition, by linking to Gigmania.com, visitors to
www.twec.com will be able to purchase tickets online.

stores. Possible promotions include in-store posters, promotional
product giveaways and in-store advertisements.
