TWEC.COM Announces Exciting Lineup of Events for the Week of 8/14 – 8/20

ALBANY, N.Y., Aug. 10, /PRNewswire/ — TWEC.COM (, the
e-commerce site of leading entertainment products retailer Trans World
Entertainment Corporation (Nasdaq: TWMC), today announced its exciting lineup
of events for the week of 8/14. The Sizzlin’ Summer Live Chat Series, hosted
in conjunction with, will continue as TWEC.COM hosts live chats with
Nature and Rah Digga. In addition, The Web’s Entertainment Center will host a
live chat with country star Marty Raybon. Also, the RadioWoodstock On Stage
series continues when TWEC.COM broadcasts a taped audio concert starring
Foxtrot Zulu. Details for each event are as follows:


  • The RadioWoodstock On Stage series continues this week with a broadcast
    of an audio concert starring Foxtrot Zulu. The jam band formed when
    its members were in college at the University of Rhode Island in the
    mid-1990s. After establishing themselves as a popular live attraction,
    the group released their debut LP, “Moe’s Diner,” in 1995. The concert
    with Foxtrot Zulu airs at the following times: Monday 8/14 at 4:00 PM
    EDT, Wednesday 8/16 at 11:00 AM EDT, Saturday 8/19 at 3:00 AM EDT and
    Sunday 8/20 at 7:00 PM EDT.

  • At 9:00 PM EDT, join TWEC.COM, in conjunction with, for the
    continuation of the 2000 Sizzlin’ Summer Live Chat Series. The series
    will continue on Monday with two live events, starting with a live chat
    with Nature. Nature, formerly a member of the Firm with Nas and Foxy
    Brown, is set to release his debut album, “For All Seasons.” The album
    is set to hit the street in mid-September. As an added bonus, the chat
    with Nature will be broadcast in Real Audio.

  • Following the chat with Nature, stick around for a live chat with Rah
    Digga at 10:00 PM EDT as the Sizzlin’ Summer Live Chat Series
    continues. Rah Digga is one of the most talented young female MCs in
    hip-hop, and is the only female member of the Flip Mode Squad, which
    also includes Busta Rhymes, Rampage and Lord Have Mercy. Rah Digga’s
    debut solo album, “Dirty Harriet,” was released in mid-April 2000. As

  • Join TWEC.COM at 8:00 PM EDT for a live chat with Marty Raybon. Raybon
    is the former lead singer of popular country band Shenendoah, who had
    hit singles with “Butterfly Kisses” and “Two Dozen Roses.” Raybon’s
    self-titled debut solo album was released in February 2000.
