TWEC.COM Announces Exciting Lineup of Events for the Week of 7/10 – 7/16

ALBANY, N.Y., July 6 /PRNewswire/ — TWEC.COM (http://www.twec.com), the
e-commerce site of leading entertainment products retailer Trans World
Entertainment Corporation (Nasdaq: TWMC), today announced its exciting lineup
of events for the week of 7/10. The Web’s Entertainment Center will hold live
online chats with Dogstar and Wayne Kirkpatrick. In addition, the
RadioWoodstock On Stage series continues when TWEC.COM broadcasts a taped
audio concert starring Jorma Kaukonen. Details for each event are as follows:

MONDAY 7/10

  • The RadioWoodstock On Stage series continues this week with a broadcast
of an audio concert starring guitarist/singer/songwriter Jorma
Kaukonen. In the 1960s, Kaukonen played backup to legendary singer
Janis Joplin, and was a founding member of renowned band Jefferson
Airplane. The concert airs at the following times: Monday 7/10 at
4:00 PM EDT, Wednesday 7/12 at 11:00 AM EDT, Saturday 7/15 at
3:00 AM EDT and Sunday 7/16 at 7:00 PM EDT.

  • At 7:00 PM EDT, join TWEC.COM for a live chat with LA-based rock band
Dogstar. Until now, Dogstar’s biggest claim to fame has been that its
bass player is actor Keanu Reeves. With the release of the band’s US
debut album, “Happy Ending,” on July 11, the members of Dogstar are
certain that will no longer be the case.

WEDNESDAY 7/12

  • At 8:00 PM EDT, log on to TWEC.COM for a live chat with Christian music
songwriter Wayne Kirkpatrick. Kirkpatrick has written songs for Amy
Grant, Billy Sprague, Michael W. Smith and Eric Clapton, among others.
One of his most famous songs is Clapton’s “Change the World.” His
debut solo album, “The Maple Room,” was released in May.

  • At 9:00 PM EDT, tune in to TWEC.COM for a live concert starring
influential ska band the Toasters, in conjunction with Electric Factory
and iCON Broadcasting. The Toasters played a large role in
popularizing ska in the underground scene, paving the way for bands
    like the Mighty Mighty Bosstones.
