exquisite harmonies, and overall positive energy. The Kennedys’ latest
album, Evolver, was released in January 2000.

  • At 9:00 PM EST, TWEC.COM will host a live chat with Beanie Sigel, as
the SOHH.com Online Hip-Hop Awards Artist Series continues. Beanie’s
debut album, Truth, hits stores on Tuesday 2/29. Before his record has
even been released, Beanie has become one of the most sought-after
artists in hip-hop, guest rapping on many collaborations. Everyone who

TUESDAY 2/29

went back to school to become an English teacher. She recently
returned to the music scene with the release of her second album, Lexi
… And That’s The Way It Is.

influences is diverse, including Spike Jones, Bonzo Dog Band, Zappa and
Spinal Tap. His new album, Ol’ Blue Balls is Back, was released in
    February.

WEDNESDAY 3/1

  • At 9:00 PM EST, The Web’s Entertainment Center will chat with the
Cowboy Junkies. Formed in Toronto in the summer of 1985, the band’s
name is actually a very accurate description of their music. While
based in country and folk traditions, their music is slow and
slumberous, combining lethargic guitars with lead singer Margo Timmins’
haunting vocals. Everyone who orders the Cowboy Junkies’ new album,
Rarities, B-Sides and Slow, Sad Waltzes will receive free shipping on
    their order.

THURSDAY 3/2

  • At 8:00 PM EST, TWEC.COM will chat live with Firehouse. The hair metal
band arrived on the pop-metal scene in the late 1980s, with their first
album being released in 1991. The album went platinum and Firehouse
experienced instant success. The album scored such memorable singles
as “Don’t Treat Me Bad” and “Love of a Lifetime.” Their second album
went gold. The band released their fifth album, Category 5, in the
    fall of 1999.

  • At 9:00 PM EST, following the chat with Firehouse, tune in to a webcast
starring music legends the Cure. One of the most enduring and popular
bands to come out of the punk rock movement of the late 1970s, the Cure
was one of the leading bands that inspired the goth-rock music movement
that developed in the mid-1980s. The band has retained a dedicated
cult following throughout their 20-year-plus career. The Cure’s latest
album, Bloodflowers, was released on February 15, and was described as
“a poignant song cycle” by Entertainment Weekly.
