MONDAY, 11/29/99

The Radio Woodstock On Stage concert series continues this week as TWEC.COM broadcasts a taped concert with Semisonic! Semisonic’s 1996
debut, Great Divide, was called one of the best albums of 1996 by
Rolling Stone Magazine. The concert with this talented rock band will
air at the following times: Monday 11/29 at 4:00 PM EST, Wednesday
11/30 at 11:00 AM EST, Saturday 12/4 at 3:00 AM EST and Sunday 12/5 at
7:00 PM EST.

At 8:00 PM EST, join TWEC.COM and chat with reggae legend Burning
Spear. Adopting his stage name from former Mau Mau leader Jomo
Kenyatta, Burning Spear got his start in music in 1969 after being
encouraged by his friend and fellow Jamaican artist Bob Marley,
who arranged an audition with him for a producer. Throughout his
stellar thirty year career, Spear’s concern with issues ranging from
black culture to universal love have been consistently and powerfully
expressed.

Following the chat with Burning Spear, The Web’s Entertainment Center
is excited to host a live chat with hip-hop icon Rakim. Rakim is
widely regarded as one of the most esteemed and influential rappers
ever to grace the hip-hop circuit. Rakim and his partner DJ Eric B
released a series of groundbreaking records in the late 1980s and
early 1990s. He released his debut solo album, The 18th Letter, in
1997. His new album, Master, hits stores on Tuesday November 30. The
chat begins at 9:00 PM EST.

The night concludes at 10:00 PM EST when TWEC.COM hosts a live chat
with talented rapper Q-Tip. Q-Tip was a member of A Tribe Called
Quest, who have been called “the most intelligent, artistic rap group
during the ’90s, A Tribe Called Quest jump-started and perfected the
hip-hop alternative to hardcore and gangsta-rap.” Q-Tip’s debut solo
album, Amplified, hits stores on Tuesday 11/30.

TUESDAY 11/30/99

On Tuesday, TWEC.COM and Atlantic Records will broadcast a video
fancast with Fat Joe. Recording albums rich with wisdom and
experience, Fat Joe brings street morality and hardcore realism to
life. Fat Joe learned how to rhyme from his older brother Angel. “I
wanted to do everything that Angel did — rhyme, fight and hustle,”
says Fat Joe. The fancast begins at 10:00 PM EST.

WEDNESDAY 12/1/99

At 9:00 PM EST, The Web’s Entertainment Center will host a live chat
with country star Steve Wariner. Millions of people across the globe
know Steve’s beautiful voice from the theme song of the classic
television series “Who’s The Boss.” Over the course of his career,
Steve has written over 200 songs and scored over 14 Number One singles
and 31 Top-10 singles, all off of his more than 18 albums.

At 10:00 PM EST, TWEC.COM and Atlantic Records will air an encore
presentation of our video fancast with punk/rock artist Bif Naked!
Bif’s hardcore punk music has been described as “a high-octane blend
of power chords, chugging rhythms, huge hooks, and brutally honest,
soul-bearing lyrics.” After performing throughout her life in many
different bands, Bif finally embarked on a solo career in 1994.

THURSDAY 12/2/99

At 10:00 PM EST, TWEC.COM and Atlantic Records will air a fancast
starring Duncan Sheik. This talented singer/songwriter broke onto the
music scene with his 1996 self-titled debut album, but was slightly
well known in alternative circles prior to that due to an appearance
on the soundtrack to ER. Duncan’s latest album, Humming, illustrates
his continued artistic growth, as Duncan served as co-producer of the
album.

At 10:00 PM EST, tune into a special edition of Radio Woodstock On
Stage as we air a taped performance starring Fox Trot Zulu. The
talented band formed in 1995 at the University of Rhode Island, and it
wasn’t long before they were a popular live attraction throughout New
England! The performance was taped live at the Joyous Lake in
Woodstock, NY.
