The RadioWoodstock On Stage series continues this week with a broadcast of a taped concert starring Sparklehorse. Musicians who are scheduled to chat with The Web’s Entertainment Center this week include singer/actress Vitamin C and Sherry Goffin Kondor, lead singer of popular children’s band The Sugar Beats. Details for each event are as follows:
The RadioWoodstock On Stage series continues this week with an audio broadcast starring Sparklehorse. Sparklehorse performs perfectly
eccentric, southern songs, ranging from the whispery and acoustic to
guitar-soaked, electric rock numbers. The concert airs at the following
times: Monday 1/17 at 4:00 PM EST, Wednesday 1/19 at 11:00 AM EST,
Saturday 1/22 at 3:00 AM EST and Sunday 1/23 at 7:00 PM EST.
On Tuesday January 18, The Web’s Entertainment Center will host a chat
with Vitamin C. The talented singer/actress released her self-titled
debut album in mid-1999. The album contains 12 unique songs, including
the summer hit “Smile.” In addition to her musical talents, Vitamin C
has also been seen in films including Hairspray, The Naked Gun 2 1/2 and
Liar, Liar. The chat begins at 8:00 PM EST.
At 8:00 PM EST on Thursday, join The Web’s Entertainment Center for a
live chat with Sherry Goffin Kondor. The daughter of Carole King and
Gerry Goffin, Sherry is currently the lead singer of The Sugar Beats, a
group who’s forte is re-recording classic pop songs for children. The
Sugar Beats formed their own label and released three successful album
in the ’90s, containing hits such as “Everyday People,” “Big Yellow
Taxi,” and a duet of “You’ve Got a Friend” with her mother.
