ALBANY, N.Y., May 9 /PRNewswire/ — Trans World Entertainment Corp.’s mall
based brand, FYE — for your entertainment — announces the sponsorship of
seven concert venues this summer in the Albany and Philadelphia areas as well
as two national tours and two music festivals. This will be the most
aggressive Summer Sponsorship Program in Trans World Entertainment/FYE
In the Albany area, FYE will be the exclusive music retailer for the
fourth consecutive year at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center and a venue
sponsor at the Pepsi Arena in Albany.
For the second year, FYE will be the official music retailer and exclusive
“In Association With” sponsor of concerts produced and/or promoted by Clear
Channel Entertainment at select Philadelphia area venues including: Tweeter
Center, Hersheypark Stadium/Star Pavilion, The Electric Factory, Tower Theatre
and Theatre of the Living Arts.
FYE will be the exclusive retail sponsor of Ozzfest which features Ozzy
Osbourne, Korn, Marilyn Manson and others for the third year. For the first
year, FYE will be sponsoring the return of the Lollapalooza tour featuring
Jane’s Addiction and Audioslave.
Highlighting the summer is FYE’s sponsorship of two major festivals.
Summer Jam X will be held at Giants Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ featuring
Eminem, 50 Cent, Nelly, Nas and many more on Monday June 3rd. In addition,
the WHFS Festival, a day long event featuring 30 artists including Godsmack,
Blur and Good Charlotte will be held at RFK Stadium in Washington, D.C. on
Saturday, May 24th.

sponsorships on-site at the venues by allowing the fans to meet and purchase
product of their favorite artists at the FYE autograph tent. There will also
be extensive advertising, in-store signage, on-site activities and online
support. The advertising will consist of radio and television spots as well
as concert program materials. Posters in-store, dedicated displays for SPAC,
Ozzfest and Lollapalooza performers, ticket giveaway promotions and in-store
appearances by some of the artists will highlight the activities at the FYE
